INTRODUCTION
Plate type filter press is intermittent solid-liquid separation equipment characterized by wide range of application, good separating effect, simple structure, convenient and safety operation.
Hydraulic cylinder provide pressure to filter plates and forms dozens or even hundreds of closed chambers. Suspension is feed into these chambers by slurry pump, solid is stopped by filter cloth, but filtrate will pass through due to the pump pressure and discharge outside of the machine.
APPLICATION
Plate type filter press can reach better filtration performance than belt type filter press. It is widely used in sewage treatment including textile, printing and dyeing, pharmaceutical, papermaking, leather and monosodium glutamate industries.
